Viele meiner Kunstwerke beziehen sich auf die afro-kubanische Kultur.
Dort sind auch meine identitären Wurzeln.
Die Gemälde erzählen Geschichten dazu und setzen Statements zu allgemein
philosophisch-gesellschaftlichen Themen. Kunst stellt für mich ein Medium dar,
das auszudrücken, was mit Worten oft nicht zu beschreiben ist.
Mit intensiven, satten Farben reflektieren meine Bilder das helle Licht der Insel.
Das Bild Ochún, mi bella Cuba stellt die Schutzpatronin Kubas dar.
